“We are grateful to Martha Haakmat for her thoughtful and insightful leadership coaching. Her depth of experience as both an educator and a diversity practitioner makes her superbly qualified to support our work incorporating racial equity into our curriculum, our classrooms and our school. Martha Haakmat, Leadership Coaching

Leadership Coaching

Coaching is a universally known method for supporting the personal and professional growth and lifelong learning of individuals. It offers the possibility of continuous development toward our best selves. In her coaching practice, Martha incorporates facilitative, instructive, and transformational methodologies, and uses her own learned experiences as a teacher and educational leader to partner with coaching clients.

Approach

From setting coaching goals, to increasing awareness of strengths and growth areas, Martha communicates with kindness and honesty. She guides clients to big questions and discovering answers, building skills and understanding behaviors.

Martha works with people seeking greater engagement in a current role, planning for transition into a new role, navigating new responsibilities, or just needing a thought partner for self reflection.

Martha offers coaching sessions in short term (3-5 sessions) and longer term (weekly, biweekly, monthly) blocks to accommodate clients’ needs and schedules.
